Family: My amazing wife Amber of over two years.

Experience: I have been blessed to serve churches in Greenville, SC. I have been serving at Deer Park since July 2009.

Education: Bachelor of Arts from North Greenville University and I am currently working on a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Favorite Bible Verse: "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is My command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."     Joshua 1:8-9

Favorite Books (other than the Bible): John Piper's "Don't Waste Your Life", Thom Rainer's "The Unchurched Next Door", and Jerry Bridges "The Pursuit of Holiness"

Hobbies: Weightlifting, reading, and playing sports

Favorite Music: Contemporary Christian and rock

Favorite Travel Destinations: The mountains

Best thing about what I do at Deer Park is... working with such an awesome youth group growing together with Christ, and watching God work wonders in the lives of His people.

Janet Olliff - Ministry Assistant jolliff@deerparkchurch.com Family: My wonderful husband, John, and three kids, Joshua, Kirsten and Joesph; four grandchildren, Jacob, Caden, Claire and Chloe; and one very spoiled dog named Dixie.

Experience: I have been serving at Deer Park since July 2008. Prior to Deer Park I have worked in several different secular positions.

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Favorite books: any by Karen Kingsbury or Tracie Peterson. I have enjoyed all of Beth Moore’s bible studies.

Hobbies: avid reader, scrap booker and cooking

Family: My husband, John, and three children, Ryan, Kyle, and another one coming soon-due the end of March!

Experience: I have 7 years teaching experience in Berkeley County, and I have served as the Child’s Day Out Director for the last 4 years.

Education: Bachelor of Science from Winthrop University, one year of Biblical Studies at Columbia International University, and an M.Ed. in Elementary Administration and Supervision from Charleston Southern University

Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 3:13-14 “I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Favorite Books (other than the Bible): anything that helps me grow as a person, parent, or wife in Christ

Hobbies: spending time with family and friends
