The middle and high school years are vital in training young people to be disciples of Jesus.  Deer Park Student Ministry is focused on partnering with parents to equip young people in grades 7 – 12 to be disciples of Jesus by clearly communicating the gospel, creating an environment of worship, and connecting teens to community in the church. The end-goal of our Student Ministry is to support and encourage our teens and their families to be theologically-sound disciples of Jesus Christ who go on to disciple others and to be vital members of the church in the college years and beyond —

Impacting the world as they are being Impacted by our living God.

Sunday Mornings at 9:45 am

Sunday School is a great time where students can come together to dive into God’s Word to learn more about Him and His love.  Students are separated into classes according to their current grade – 7th – 8th, 9th -10th, and 11th – 12th.

Sunday Evenings at 5:00-6:30 pm

Middle School Students – Meet in the Student Ministry Room for Trek! This is a great opportunity for our middle school students to join together for growing stronger in their faith as they explore answers to some significant life questions.  Trek is an AWANA based curriculum that will provide many opportunities for teens and families to grow closer together and closer to the Lord.

High School Students – Sunday evenings provide our high school students with an opportunity to serve in AWANA with our children.  It is vitally important for students to serve and consistently  “give back” as they mature in their their faith.  High School students will serve as “leaders in training” alongside adults in all areas of our AWANA ministry.

Wednesday Nights at 6:30-7:30 pm

Wednesday evenings provide a relaxed small group opportunity for students to all meet together for discussion based on Bible topics and passages.
