Go-Getters Senior Adult Ministry

Go-Getters is a vibrant and active ministry for adults ages 50 and up at Deer Park Baptist Church. From September through May, we gather on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM for a potluck lunch, where the church provides the meat and everyone brings their favorite sides and desserts to share. Each gathering is filled with delicious food, meaningful fellowship, and lighthearted entertainment.

In addition to our monthly meetings, the Go-Getters sponsor a variety of special outings, seasonal get-togethers, and mission projects throughout the year. One of our key mission efforts includes assembling bags of essential items for prison ministry, along with supporting other local and global outreach initiatives of the church.

Whether you’re looking to connect with others, serve with purpose, or just enjoy a good meal and a few laughs, the Go-Getters are a welcoming place to belong.
