Antlers
Antlers (4–6 Years Old)
As deer grow, they begin to develop antlers—symbolizing maturity, strength, and confidence. In our Antlers class, children start to grasp Bible truths and ask big questions. Through interactive teaching, worship, and creative activities, we help them grow strong roots in their faith as they begin to understand what it means to follow Jesus.
Our Antlers class is where imagination grows, friendships form, and the foundations of faith are built. Designed for children ages 4 to 6, this class meets during Sunday School hour from 9:45 – 10:45 and offers a joyful, engaging environment where kids begin to take their first steps toward knowing God and His Word.
Children who are checked into Children’s Church will be brought into the Worship Center at the end of Sunday School to join the beginning of the worship service. After participating in singing, Scripture reading, and prayer, they will be dismissed with our Deer Park Kids volunteers for age-appropriate spiritual learning. This approach helps introduce children to corporate worship while also engaging them with teaching designed specifically for their age.
In the Antlers class, children enjoy interactive Bible lessons, creative activities, worship through music, and fun games—all designed to help them understand big truths in ways their young minds and hearts can grasp. Each week, our trained and loving volunteers lead the group with energy, patience, and purpose.
All Antlers class volunteers have been background checked, screened, and trained in child safety and ministry best practices. Our classroom is secure, structured, and full of opportunities for kids to learn, ask questions, and feel God’s love through consistent care and engaging teaching.
We value partnering with parents during these critical early years, and we’re committed to helping your child grow in faith, confidence, and curiosity about the world God has made.
